I have been having problems trying to get ActivSync ( 4.5 ) to establish
a partnership with my Dell Axim X5 ( PocketPC Ver:3.0.11171 ). When pushing
"Sync" on ppc, message "...must establish partnership w/ PC before you can
synchronize..." However, the ActiveSync on my PC does not prompt me to
create a 'relationship' with the mobile device.

So stupidly I made a copy of 'Microsoft Pocket PC Connection Wizard' and
installed it on my computer. Not only did it not help, but now I can't
delete it! HELP!!!

This newsgroup is mostly for a largely obsolete platform called
Handheld PC. Questions about Pocket PCs, like your Axim, are far more
likely to get useful answers if asked in microsoft.public.pocketpc.
Questions about activesync are more likely to get useful answers if
asked in microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync

I just used google () to
look up
activesync 4.5 axim
and got 32,100 hits. I took a quick look and am pretty sure I saw some
that were relevant and maybe even useful. I definitely saw references
to a web site () that might be very useful. I also
used a different variant of google
() to look up the same
search string and got 280 hits. I took a quick look and saw some hits
you might find useful.
