In Windows Media Player, on Windows 7, I have a red line running down the
center of the screen.

I find some knowledge base articles about a similar problem in earlier
versions of WMP and Windows, but nothing that easily relates to my situation.

I recently replaced the videocard with an ATI HD 4670, but I am not sure,
when exactly the problem began, because I don't often play video on the WMP.

Any thoughts or suggestions for how to correct this problem would be
appreciated.

Found the answer to my own query.

And, it's a feature, not a bug!

In ATI's CCC, under AVIVO settings there's a demo mode, which I had
activated, I guess. The redline is a split screen to show the effect of the
AVIVO enhancements.
