Subject says it all. I was thinking of running it under a virtual
machine with GPU pass-through so I'd use a more common platform than
Slackware for it. But it looks like GPU pass-through is quite involved
itself.

Therefore it might be easier to run it directly from slackware. Has
anyone here any experience?

The Steam version of the Kerbal Space Program free demo ran fine on my
Slackware64 14.1 multilib box a year or so ago. I have not yet tried the
full version.

As for gaming on Slackware: I have found that Steam, GOG.com, and Humble
Bundle native Linux binaries run quite. Too well, given the amount of
time I spend....
